I bought a Tracker Pro V175 Guide in 2011. I am using an electric kicker motor on it since one of the lakes I fish has a 10-horse motor limit. However, the two metal disks push into the inside of the transom where I attach the motor, creating dents. Then, as the dents deepen, the motor loosens and shifts {It's a Torqeedo electric.}. I was looking for some sort of metal or aluminum plate that could be attached to the transom, on the inside of the boat, and then the disks would press on that rather than directly to the aluminum transom. Anny suggestions? Thanks!
