Hi, newb here, question bout engine service manuals

Hi, all. Just aquired a 14' trihull fishing setup with a 1978 Evinrude 55hp model 55875s. Im needing a service manual for it and i found one on ebay for a 1979 55hp 55975. Can anyone tell me if this manual applies to my egine? Or should i keep looking. Thanks. O and cool forum. I'v already learned a couple things just reading through the last couple days of posts.

I don't know if the 55975 manual is always correct for the 55875 but I am sure is is for most stuff. I would prefer to get the exact manual from www.outboardbooks.com.

Thanks for the link jb. I went ahead and got the correct 55875 off Ebay for $25. Quite a bit cheaper than iv found elsewhere. I asked about the 55975 because I found one for $10 but id rather not have to second guess my manual so i didn't buy it.
