Mercruiser Alpha One 3.0L Prop

I am debating what the problem could i was told a bigger prop would help but not sure i wanna spend the money just to try.. I have a 2004 bayliner 175BR Bowrider it has a mercruiser alpha one 3.0L 135 hp engine it runs fine when not trying to speed up but once i am trying to have some fun (pull tube, knee board) etc even when i put it in full throttle it doens speed up ill mess with the throttle close it open it rev it put it back in full throttle it finally gets up and goin right now i have a PowerTech M135RED3R20 prop on it

Does the motor" bog down or stumble"when you advance the throttle or does it just struggle to plane?
If it is bogging you need to check the motor.
It is possible the 20" prop is too much for water sports.
We need more infornation.
Read the stickys at the top of the prop forum And get us as much info as possible.
Wide open throttle rpm and gps speed.What is your typical load?
