I got our project boat launched finally (maybe a couple weeks ago) and was fairly happy with how it ran considering the lack of money I had to put into it.
I know I still need to do a few things but wanted to see it run before spending anything more.
This motor was sitting uncovered for 6-7 years.
So far all I did was replaced the internal wire harness, made new main power and ground wires, cleaned out the carbs (while on motor) ,cleaned up the grounds and cobwebs and installed new battery.
I still have in issue with starting it when it's cold, it just won't start until I spray into the cylinders directly.
Plus gas seems to really come out of the carbs when I prime the line bulb.
Will the carb kits help we talked about in my other threads help / fix both of these issues?
