I have a 9.9 on my West Marine inflatable and have a question for anyone with a late model Mercury. How long does the oil pressure light take to go off after starting? Mine takes 3-5 seconds, and this weekend I counted to 8 before it went out. A call to Mercury Marine says this is perfectly normal, but wanted to get some input from like engine owners.
