4.3 Mercruiser wont start

I just pulled the motor out do to it being locked up. I re-installed motor hooked up all wires, replaced plugs, fuel filter, etc. the motor is cranking good and sounds like it is on the verge of starting but t doesnt. Side note: motor has not ran since spring of 2012 due to other issues with boat. Anyone have any ideas?:confused:

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,... Are the spark plugs, Sparkin',..??

Is it gettin' Gas,..?? dump a tablespoon or 2 down the carb's throat, 'n Try it...

Its getting plenty of gas. Should I change the plug wires? I know they have not been changed since Ive had the boat(3years). I will pull the plugs out to see if i'm getting spark. I'm just concearned there may be more of a problem because the engine was locked up?

Why was it locked up? What all did you have to do to it? Did you get it all timed and adjusted right?

You could probably put new plug wires on it, if you knew that was the problem, but I doubt it is.
Do you have spark

What year is this 4.3 anyway?
