All I wanted to do was replace the thermostat. I fired the motor up and it locked. I pulled off the sterndrive it's clear, pulled the timing chain cover, cam will move but not the crank, pulled the starter and its clear. What else could it be besides a broken crank? sounds like the engine has to be removed one way or another unless anyone knows or has another idea?
