i need some help guys.... just bought this 97 stratos boat, runs fine at max speeds, but when idling after a long run it starts coughing and sneezing and turnining off with a lot of smoke. I started the boat the day after the lake and the boat idled with no problems. just wnat to know if this is major or minor ... im a first time boat owner, and want to know where to start on this issue. so if i can get some feed back on this it would greatly appreciated ...
