boat ran great last year but since sitting i can't get fuel to the carbs...replaced bulb with new one thinking that was the problem after spotting small leak in old one, it pumps up and gets somewhat hard but still won't fire up, i sprayed a small amount of starter fluid and it starts but but dies because of no fuel in carbs..tried with choke on and choke off... nothing

Sounds like carb repair or fuel hose replacement time. And don't use starter fluid as it takes the lube off of the cyls. Use premix.

Pull fuel feed line from carb. Turn motor over for a couple secs....see if fuel squirts out hose. If it does, then you probably have carb issues.

If it doesn't , then try a different fuel tank(use a 2 liter bottle as a fuel tank if you have to). Make sure new bulb is facing correct direction and/or completely remove it just to make sure you didn't buy a defective one.

Make one change at a time to pinpoint the problem.
