I've done some searching, but cannot find an exact answer to my question. I am looking for an impeller kit for my outdrive. From what I can read....the number on the drive is 5564663. The boat is a 1980 SeaRay with a Mecruiser 898 with ser# 5650290.
BUT, from what the unit looks like it is a MC-1 upper with a R/MR/Alpha Lower. The upper has a ring on the top with fluted sides, but the lower has almost squared off pieces. So. Is this possible? If so, what impeller kit do I need?
I'm also looking for an anode for the lower unit as it is missing. Will that matter depending on the type of lower unit?
