for the life of me i cannot figure out which engine i have in my 26ft sleekcraft.
the valve cover stamp says ( cu 42039 ) on one side and the other side shows a sticker saying ( 290A )
the block # says 14010207 ( cast iron numbers )
and ive seen the diagram showing where the tin tab is located but i cannot find it on my boat... im not sure if its behind the oil filter or what
if it means anything. 01-84 is stamped on the water housing
any help is greatly appreciated
