help; gas leak

Hey Guys

I was wondering if anyone could help me out, I have a dripping gas leak on the bottom of the carb housing when motor is trimmed all the way up. (behind the red screw driver in picture) I took the housing cover off and there is a cardboard gasket and it looks worn but not abused and was planning on gettin a new one. Will this solve my problem or is there something else?

Put a new gasket on it and make sure the hose from the bottom of the air silencer going back to the intake manifold is connected.
