So before I stored the boat outside over the winter the motor and all works fine. I had the unit completely lowered down and removed all the batters indoors. Now I can not tilt the unit up, the boat is parked where there is no water hose access and I don't really want to move the boat as it will damage the propeller and blade(I will resort to this as a last option). This is the first year that I have owned this boat, so I do not have any mechanical knowledge of how boat motors work. Any help will be much appreciated!
When I attached a new batter on to the motor, I go to raise the unit and it just clicks and nothing. When I press and hold on to the tilt button the unit does not raise up but just click..click...click....click....click...
Could it be the hydraulic fluid? I inspect the unit and did not see any leaks at all.
