I have a 1995 Larson 214 SEI with a 5.8FLPHUE. Just rebuilt the fuel system on this boat, mechanical pump was a mess from previous owner, rust in the oil/water seperators, and bad fuel. Replaced the pump, filters, cleaned up rust and lines, rebuilt the carbs and cleaned the filters. Drained the bad fuel and put in fresh fuel.
The boat runs great, I get up to around 42-43 mph, but with the last little bit of throttle I can give it I can feel a slight power decrease and the boat slows down a bit. Still runs fine, just lose a bit of power. What should I be looking for to solve this problem?
Thanks.
