I'm completely refitting a basket-case 1982 28' Bayliner Contessa into a hull-speed-max, small-lake occasional cruising poor-man's waterfront condo. I've already removed EVERYTHING including the engine and outdrive and plugged the outdrive hole in transom. For propulsion my intent is to hang a small 4-stroke OB off a beefed-up swim platform. Anyone have experience and/or recommendations on how I should proceed to make the OB remote-control capable for throttle and steering? Remote F-N-R would be nice, but I can live without that. Thnx.
