I have a 2012 Smoker Craft voyagure boat and I would like to know if there is any chance of leaking water into the boat by tapping screw holes in the top of the inboard ribs.

thanks

If you have semi circular ribs or square tubing (flanged for riveting) and use a short metal piercing screw, paying attention to depth of screw penetration and available depth of penetration, absolutely not. Have at it. Use some common sense. I have done it numerous times.
