I currently have a mercury 650 Serial# 2807547. My lower gear case housing cracked this winter so i want to replace the whole bottom half with a new unit. I found another 650 mercury but i don't know if there serial numbers match.
The second motors serial number is 2872484.
If anyone has a book or can tell me someone of finding out if the 2 motors can have parts changed from one to the other please let me know.
