I'm looking at a late 90's caravelle interceptor. I don't know much about these boats other than a caravelle is a pretty good boat. I don't however know anything about the interceptor. It's 21ft. with the 350 merc. Claims the engine was replaced a couple of years ago and interior redone. Haven't seen it in person yet. What would a reasonable price be in fair condition, and any negatives to that hull design. Thanks much

Reasonable price would be what you are willing to pay. Hull is for lake boating mostly, not so much Ocean/Great Lakes.

I like those old Interceptors but prices vary drastically from state to state and region to region. Even then we need to understand its exact condition after you inspect it. I'd hope redone interior doesn't mean the re carpeted over rotton sole with new upholstery.

Generally when I see a late model boat with a "redone interior" my knee jerk reaction is a neglected/heavily used boat that someone has sunk a little money into to make it "look" good again.
