I have a 2010 Mercury 4 stroke EFI tiller. The engine won't start. I found a 20a and 15a fuse blown under the engine hood. The fuses are in a 4 fuse fuse holder.
I replaced the fuses and the 15a will blow everytime the key is turned to the "start" position. If the key is left in the "run" position nothing pops.
I inspected the wiring and it appears to be OK.
I found when I removed the "blue" wire that goes to the gear shift I could move the key to the start position without blowing the fuse (although the engine doesn't crank with the "blue" wire disconnected)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Mike
