Smoked plexiglass under Center Console

Hi guys, while my deck is being replaced, (and it rains) I fig'd I would do some other work around the boat. I have a 20ft CC Proline with a typical CC. Under the console right now is just open. Teak framed off, but no door or anything.

What I want to do is put in 2 cabinet-type sliding smoked plexiglass panels.

Was wondering if anyone had done something similar?

Hope this makes sense, I will post some pics tomorrow when I get home.

Sounds nice. I want to make a stereo/radio cabinet under my console and was thinking of useing smoked plexiglss for it to match my cuddy door. Can't wait to see yoru pics and ideas.
