Hello all
I just bought the motor, before putting gas to it, I wanted to see if it would turn over via the key.
The boat that came with it originally was set up with steering wheel etc, but all that is gone.
It did come with a wiring harness that plugs into the motor.
When cranking the key, the primer works , but no go to starter motor.
The starter will crank when battery cables are put to it.
Is there a fuse stashed somehere that would kill the power to the starter.
I did not see one on the wiring harness and could not locate one on the motor.
Any help would be appreciated.
