Mercury 9.9 - 2 stroke

I have a 96' mercury 9.9 2 stroke.

The idle wire (link wire) has fallen out.

I see where one end (front) attaches to the fast idle lever but have no idea where the other end attaches.

Can anyone help?

It attaches to the underside of the stator plate on the starboard side the right angled bend goes thru a slot and you will have to disconnect the rod from the fast idle arm to get it back thru the hole (slot)
