evinrude 40 HP crank from '74 '75 or 76

hy all,

i'm looking for a crank for an evinrude. id did soem massive searching on the net (about 3000 ads) but i found nothing. could someone here give me a suggestion?

Used parts dealers should have plenty of them. Try:

If you can find your local outboard junkyard, you'll probably get your best deals there. What's wrong with the crank you have? One alternative is to send it to www.neecaprecisions.com .

PS - I assume we're talking about the crankshaft rather than the pull-start.

EDIT: I just noticed we're in Project Boats. This will likely get moved to a more appropriate catagory.

Moving to Evinrude troubles.

Paul, please refer posters by organization name rather than link. It seems direct links to commercial sites interfere with iboats business interest in some way.
