I started up my motor for the first time in a while today and I noticed that a pee stream of gas was coming out of a hole on the right side of the Carb. I'm wondering what might be going on before I try to fix it. I didn't find any clues in my service manual. It is the hole on the left side t of the pic just behind the choke. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

That is a bowl vent and gasoline issuing from it means that the level inside is way too high. It might be due to a worn inlet needle, a stuck inlet needle, incorrect float height, or a stuck float. It also can be due to a defective or vibrating enrichment solenoid.

At minimum you should remove and clean the carb.
