I know I posted this before but feel it could be again.

I launched my boat yesterday and it could not have gone any better.
I truely believe it's due to preventive maintainance.......

Starts with oil/fluid changes in the fall, performing scheduled tune-ups, etc....

And most of all.............reading posts on I-Boats!!!

Have a good season everyone!!

it also helps to run your engine on the hose at the house before you go to the ramp.

I'm a huge believer in preventative maintenance too. My last set of mercruiser 5.7L 260's never left me stranded in 21 years of service. Always kept up with the scheduled stuff and if anything else even looked or sounded like it was starting to go I just replaced it. I have friends with "run it until it breaks" mentalities who just don't get it. :noidea:

It also helps to check all of your boat before going to the ramp and finding you have problems, like locked up steering, or throttle and shift are froze up. That can happen even with proper PM.

Here is a checklist we used to use at the dealership I worked at for getting boats ready for the customers.
Some I changed because it's not needed.
