I have a 1985 beachcraft international 24' with a 5.7 GI gas engine . as i rpm up to get on a plane you can feel something slip then grab again. I have checked the prop by scribing a line on the prop and one on the cone.(there is no sloppage at all.) the motor is rated @ 280 hp. the boat is heavy approx 5000pounds if not a little heavier with tackle and gear.are there any clutches in the drive that could be slippimg? the prop is alum. 15.3x19"pitch. maybe under propped for max rpm and weight???thanks Dave
