Default center console windshield height

I'm going to add a windshield to my center console this year, and I'm wondering how high to make it. I know you are supposed to be able to see over it when running the boat. Is there an air eddy that forms over the windshield when moving at 30mph? I'm wondering if the wind spills right over the edge at a 90 degree angle?

Default Re: center console windshield height

On mine, it comes up to about nipple height when standing, and I get wind blasted. I don't worry about it, I don't mind the wind. As long as I can sit down and get out of it when it is cold out, I am happy. You can look at my setup in my link below to see how I did it.
