I need to remove fuel line in hose from fuel tank end, in order to get to anti siphon valve, so I can remove it.

I don't want to cut hose out. Too much trouble to replace.
I was thinking of trying a hair dryer thru a hose, so as not to have electric hair dryer in fuel tank area.
Got any ideas??
Thanks

Sounds like a lot of static electricity will result.

I can't recommend this, unless you have somebody recording it for YouTube...

Why is it too much trouble to replace? If the hose end is so stiff that it has no 'give' left to it, it's time to either cut back the hose end a couple inches, or replace the hose. Can't tell you how many times I've just sliced the hose an inch lengthwise with a utility knife to get it off the fitting, then just cut off that little piece entirely when I put the hose back.

Are you able to use a flat tip screwdriver to get under the hose and break it free from the tank? Usually you have to do this 360 degrees around, or as much as you can, to break the seal. Then a combination of pulling and prying usually does the job.

Cut it off lose then cut the end that is stuck length wise. Peel it with a strong blade, a thin blade may break and send the point flying.
