Hi, I am going to be taking my OMC 115 turbojet out if my boat and attempting a rebuild. I have low compression on one cylinder 60 psi the other 3 are all 90 psi. I pulled the heads sent them to a machine shop and replaced head gaskets. Still 60psi on one and 110 psi on other 3. Gonna run OMC power tune through motor too see if it helps. if not gonna pull the motor and have block sent to Machine to either be honed or bored. I am replacing the rings, gaskets, will inspect and replace pistons if necessary. My question is what else should I be concerned of replacing while I have it apart. I capped this rebuild @ $700 anymore and I think it would be better to get a new motor.

top & bottom bearings, big ends ,mains, small ends all the seals and get the crank measured while its down.
if the block is ok then youl have a engine as good as new again.
well worth doing the job to get 20 years more from it

Thanks for the info. I didn't want to take it apart put it back together and realize I missed something.I know alot of people don't like the omc motors, but I find them fairly easy to work on.
