Well it's just about finished. New seals , water pump, lanyard emergency switch,carb rebuild. Compression & ignition check out really good. Just finished painting. I went the cheap route and just got some inexpensive enamel paint, thinned it and and sprayed it on with a spray gun. I did use self etching primer. Paint is not original colors, similar but not exact. ( at least I didn't paint it camo like a buddy tolD me to do. I am pretty cheap so I cut stencils on blue painters tape and airbrushed the "evinrude" on it. Hey- it's 55 yrs old - and it runs great! Not bad for a free motor. Although I have yet to find anything related to boating that is free, except for the advice from everyone here. Thank you for all your help. I'm sure I will need some more. I think I want to put a starter in it next.
