Hi everyone Iboats lurker here ...finally got our pontoon (1999 sanpan 2200 w/50hp evinrude efi)

also i already added a New Head unit :)

Anyway we have a very shallow shoreline ..infact it is a sandbar then a shoreline ...Which has its benefits (safe for kids fun etc) but also means lift options are very limited.

this is our neighbors setup ours will be identical (they are permanant residents)

also it is a vacation home so we are not there all the time either and Is technically the River (wisconsin river about 1/2 mile before the Lake begins Lake wisconsin) so the water level can change 6-8 inches with a BIG rain

I know i could probably could do a narrow Lift but not sure how it will Look in the shallow water??

should i just beach the toon and Drive some poles deep in the ground and tie it up when we are gone??

Basically i dont want to bring the truck every weekend just to drop the boat and pull it but would like some ideas or opinions on what i should do while i am not there to make sure she doesn't float away in a big storm

also i dont want to leave it tied to the dock when we are gone because i dont want to damage the dock as well if the water levels rise too much and the weight of the boat is on it as well (just getting it this spring 100 ft Boat Docks & Piers | Aluminum Boat Docks & Aluminum Piers | Easy Install dock)

would love some opinions or input!! Thank You!!!

Thank you! ....i used to be a very active member of the Cadillac forums (used to have a cts and cts-v) but then i got married and had a baby so fast cars are no more ...now slow boats and sunshine and some beers are my new love hahaha

Consider how a set of sea legs would work for you.
