Hi,
I am in the process of rebuilding the motor. I have removed everything
and now need to remove the intermediate unit.
How do I remove the intermediate cover so I can get to the bolts
to remove the powerhead. I have taken all the bolts out and it seems
the cover needs to come off but how? Anyone have a schmatic?
I ordered a repair manual but it does not show my motor.
Please help.
Thanks

Usually you can grab it by the flywheel and yank it back and forth to pop it loose

Thanks,
I used a crow bar. Powehead separated. Engine is off and ready for the machine shop. Now I hope we can find piston , rings etc. For this motor.
Carb rebuild kits are ?. Will try to clean up first. Any suggestions?
Thanks
