I have an '83 Merc 2 stroke 3.5 with the Mikuni carb. I don't know why, but in low rpm and high rpm it runs well, but in between it bogs down and is about ready to stall. If I jump to high rpm it's fine....and from high quickly to low it's fine. But I can't run it in the middle at all and leave it there. This happens both in neutral and in gear, running in water. I've rebuilt the carb and had it apart several times. I have never had this occur on any other small merc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, D
