Lync and sync?

If I took carbs off and cleaned them and replaced fuel pump is it necessary to do a lync & sync procedure on 50 hp Yamaha?

Necessary? Maybe not. Very good idea? Absolutely.

Think about it this way. Loosen all carb bolts and see how much play you have on the carb. This small amount can influence if your carb is completely closed or slightly open.
