Johnson lower unit swap

Hello,

I am selling a lower unit off of a 1979 100 HP johnson on ebay. I have a person interested and is wondering if it will fit a 1986 110 HP. Will these two lower units swap out? I believe I heard all V4 1978-1988 are the same, but I'm not completely sure of that!

Thanks, anyone know 100%. I am going to send the guy measurements between the mounting holes to see if the bolt pattern matches up.
