Hi there, either is not good for 2 strokes, it doesn't contain any oil, and actually washes the oil that is in the crank case out, especially if your not sucking any gas(oil) into engine this is bad. I use a small spray bottle with mixed 2 stroke gas, just don't spray while engine is running or even turning over. I would start by pulling the spark plug and checking if your getting gas into cylinder. Your carb jets could be gunked up. You apparently have spark and compression, and sounds like your getting gas into carb, probably not from carb into engine though. Just my opinion on where I would start. Hope this helps. Ryan
