Volvo Penta SX-M outdrive horsepower rating

I am thinking of repowering my boat with a 383 stroker - up from a 5.0 GXi-E. I currently have an SX-M 1.6 outdrive and was wondering if the outdrive will withstand the extra hp produced by the 383.

Shouldn't be a problem for the drive, but Volvo normally goes DuoProp on the higher HP engines for more power to the water.
Same upper gear box.
