Im looking at buying a 2005 envinrude 115 DI saltwater series, model #E115FSLSDS. On the bottom of the tag(on the engine) it says 07/2005. Can anyone tell me what the difference is on this engine compared to an etec? I've searched the web for info but all it has is info on etecs for that year, and nowhere on this engine im looking at does it say etec, or really even look like an etec. I cant find info about this particular engine anywhere. Is it good or bad? The engine does say direct injection, but I imagine its not the same as an etec, right? From what Im reading alot went on with these envinrudes over the years surrounding 2005, so I cant make heads or tails of this engine being reliable or deplorable. Any info would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
