Won't shut off??FIXED!!!!

My neighbor has a boat with an older 110 evinrude E110tlcca.
It HAD a newer E88tsleoc. That's the wiring harnes that's in the boat.
The 110 hooked up to the wiring harness. But won't shut off.
Any idea what I can do to rewire or fix it.?
Anyone have a harness cheap?
He wants to sell it but can't untill it shuts off.

Check it out (below) with an ohm meter.

(Ignition Kill Circuit)
(J. Reeves)

A Black wire (ground) should lead from the powerhead to the powerpack. There will also be a Black/Yellow wire leading from the powerpack to a raised "M" terminal of the ignition switch. To complete the circuit, there will be a Black wire from the other "M" terminal of the ignition switch to ground.

When the key is in the OFF position = The two "M" terminals are connected,. effectively shorting/killing the ignition.

When the key in ON position = The two "M" terminals are not connected and the ignition is engaged.

The wiring harness/control boxes were the same up through the 1995 model year, which was the year of the 88. Joe's got some good comments.

Went away from the job for a while and was hoping more got added.
I finnaly have the boat in my yard and I can actually do something with it.

Been to Maxrules for the wiring diagrams. Got one for the 1988 88-110 Evinrude 110 E110TLCCA
This is the motor on the boat now.It runs but won't shut off.
The 95/88 is the one I took off and replaced with the older motor(blew the cylinder)

Need one for a 1995 Evinrude E88TSLEOC Maxrules has a bunch but not that one.
Any ideas where I can get one?
Will also need the key switch diagram for both motors.

Need more !!! I need the keyswitch wiring diagrams for both years 88/110 and the 95/88 along with the diagrams for the 95 E-88tsloc

FIXED!! Turns out there was a wire broken in the harness at the plug.
Took a while to track it down but it's working now.
