Hi there guys and girls,
Reasonably new to to Boating and I have a problem with the tilt on my Yamaha 200 outboard.
My boat is an old Gulf Craft (being in the Middle East) and it has on it a Yamaha 200 V6.
I've just been out all day with the boat without any problems and raised the engine without any issues maybe a little slower than it usually rises. When I came to lower the engine nothing moved at all.
The motor tilt motor is running and sounds the same as it always does. I tried putting some weight on the engine but without any luck. The boat hasn't been used all through winter but this is the 3rd run of the year and its been fine.
Any ideas what the problem could be. I haven't seen any fluid/signs of a leak which was my first idea...
