There are also plastic welding tools.
Essentially a micro, very hot air gun.
You can melt it together.
If you have really deep pockets; Ultrasonic processes exist.
But for most of us it is the screw method.

Re: Starboard adhesive?

I like to tap it for coarse thread machine screws when I make stuff out of it. I also like to buy it as cutting boards at my local department store, cheaper than the marine store...

I tried 5200 once. It failed literally in 1 day :p As mentioned, the 3M Scotch-Weld is the only stuff I've ever heard of that works. I made my dash panels out of Starboard. I initially put them up there with 5200 knowing it would not hold long term but I have gauges and buttons and cupholders and things screwed the Starboard into the wood backer and that's been keeping them in place just fine. http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/ezmobee/New Boat/102_0888-Copy.jpg

I have read on other sties from contractors that use Starboard and Seaboard they say the only way is welding. No glue they have found works.
