1998 Johnson Tilt Issue

I have a 1998 70hp Johnson with power tilt. The engine moves up and down fine but when it is moving it will make a loud cracking/popping sound. It appears to be coming from what I think is the hydrualic motor. Any ideas as to the issue. Here is a link to a video of the engine.

Have you greased the two fittings on front of the tilt tube ??

Yes that is fine I can feel a pop coming from the motor would air in the system cause??
