I got a 1998 Leader 190cc HULL ONLY and have a line up on an engine at a local outboard shop. It is an old evinrude 115hp. will this be enough and how fast will it go. I am trying to get the boat to about 35mph. The hull is rated for 90-115 but has a max of 150.

That 115HP motor should push you pretty well. You may make 35MPH, or at least get close.

Since you said Rude and 115 hp, you are probably on the prop rating side of the hp scale. Having run a 125 on the powerhead rating side of the scale on a heavy 18' tri hull with a reduced pitch prop for water sports, I could still get 39 out of the rig. Your hp is probably about what mine was and you have a fine match lined up. I think I was running a 13+ x 17P SS on mine but I could pop up two kids on slaloms with the rest of the family in the boat or me on a slalom with them in the boat; no problem. If it weren't for the load, I could have easily gone to a 19 or maybe even a 21 and would have gotten well over 40.
