87 mercury 90 hp 2 stroke

have a 1987 lund with a 90 hp merc. when two people are on the driver side. when at low speeds the motor dies out any ideas ?

Check your fuel pick up tube , and make sure fuel tank has fuel line pointing aft. does it happen all the time,or just when low on fuel? If it happens all the time , it could be a faulty tilt switch. When the boat is leaning to one side and it dies , you may also have a loose wire. Let us know what you find.

What happens with one in the boat and with one on each side ? What happens at higher speeds ? Does it happen on a full tank ?

just at slow speeds and only on the driverside. otherwise runs great
