Hi, I'm Ben. I'm new to the site. I've been a marine mechanic for a couple years now and want to start a new hobby out in my garage. Restoring vintage outboards. I'm in the proccess of restoring a 1955 johnson seahorse 5.5hp. Thats going great. My problem is I can't find parts ANYWHERE for the motor I just picked up. It's a 1950 Lauson sportking T-650 SN 15468
If any one out there can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. thank you.

Re: vintage outboard restoration

You could also post in the outboard motor section of the forum on this site. There are some very helpful people over there

Wow....that's unusual.....I can see why you'd want to restore one of those. Here are some pics; I can't say that I've ever seen one.
