I have a 2003 Yamaha 15 HP 4-stroke on a12' Carolina Skiff set up as a center console with remote steering. It can't get out of it's own hole. I want to go up to a 16' aluminum jon boat and would simply like to convert the outboard to tiller steering. The dealer said the parts would be too expensive for it to be worth it. Any alternatives?
