decarbed the motor and cleaned it. suffered from clogged jets and lines. threw in a new fliter, new primer bulb. dialed the screw on each carb to 2.5 turns out.. (heres a side question, i dont have the black air cover that covers the three carbs, will this make the motor pull differently? i know vacuum can be an issue on 2 strokes. or cause it to run lean?) okay back on track cranked it up and it idles fine 1100 or so rpms and has a nice forward idle. but i replaced the cable(throttle) last fall and want to make sure it is engaging everything soundly. or any precautions with this year motor? 1992 60 hp E60TLE
i have it on a 152 scout cc boat should fly
as well i have heard of people running the "pee hole" line up over top the block and back down to make sure it doesn't pull air back up? but it pees fine
thanks
