starcraft stringers

I have a 1976 starrcraft 16 ft open bow that i need to replace the floor and the stingers
after removing the floor i found very little of the stingers left and what is left dose not apear to go all the way to the bottom dose anyone know if that is correct
thanks for your help

Is this a fiberglass or aluminum boat? I'm assuming fiberglass.

If guessing fiberglass?? The stringers I've seen in glass boats went down to the hull glass but I would imagine that could vary based on brand

Yep they should attach to the hull. ONce the deck is remove run a string line from Port to starboard across the highest point of what's left of em and mark the sides with a Magic Marker You can use that to establish your new stringer dimensions.
