Hey guys,

I have a 17' Belmont ski boat. I currently have a Sony CDXM60UI head unit with two Polk EX602a 6.5 speakers. I just bought two Infinity 612m 6.5 speakers waiting to be installed.

Here's my questions. I want my boat to be bumping!

1. Are my old/outdated Polk speakers ok you think? They still work fine.

2. Should I add two more Infinity speakers to make 6 speakers in a 17' boat (assuming I keep the two Polk)?

3. Is the Pioneer TS-W259S4 Champion Series 10" sub good for this setup?

4. Should I get the MB Quart NAU660 6 channel amp or JBL MA6004 4 channel amp? (Does that change if I have four or six speakers)?

5. Anything else you can think of!

See below for all the specs to answer your questions.

Thanks for the help and advice to give me a bumping boat !!!

Re: Speaker/Amp/Sub setup for you gurus

If you run a 6 channel amp. Put a pair of Coaxials (6.5") speakers on front speaker outs channels 1&2, put a pair on rear speakers outs channels 3&4 and then bridge a 10" sub on channels 5&6.
I don't know about the speakers. I went with JL's for my boat.
