Does anybody know what part number this or where I can order it?image.jpgimage.jpg. It goes under the flywheel and helps hold the key

Thats the cam that opens & closes your points. A model number would help find a replacement. I've never seen one with that kinda damage. Do ya know how that happened?

I think that model # is FD-21.

Looks like somebody didn't have the key way in the cam lined up with the key in the crankshaft when they put the flywheel down and then torqued it.

Evinrudes website doesn't list anything past '68, but, the part number for '68 is: 0377528. It's no longer available from them. After lookin at it more, It appears to have been stopped abruptly (from hitting something underwater?). You'll probably need a new woodruff key too. I'd be concerned about internal damage, also. If a piston locked up, it could do that kinda damage. does the flywheel turn? Have ya pulled the plugs to check that the pistons are still travellin up & down? Just some things to think about.

Model number is fd21. I have checked the pistons and everything is good. I don't know how this happened but I gotta fix it anyway. Are you sure it's the part 377528 cause the pics on the Internet show that having small roller bearings in it and I don't see a keyway and mine has no roller bearings in it. I have looked at the schematics and i though it would be part 510168 but I'm not sure because I can't find a pic for that.

You can't always go by what those generic diagrams show ya, but that part number was for a '68. I'll see if I can find a diagram on a different website, or with my local dealer tomorrow.

Here's your part.

MarineEngine.com - Engine Parts Search

Your number is superceded by this one for a brand new part: 0316583. Ya might find a used one cheaper if ya look around a bit, by the old number.
